Dogs visit pet resort

Bexley and Holly are now into their first week in the wonderful pet resort they had selected... they are on the Cain Farm in Kergunyah. It is a little weird being at home without them, but getting ready to go has kept us busy.

6 sleeps to go

Well, it has been a busy couple of weeks. Not just to try and organise ourselves to get ready for our holiday, but Andrews Mum turns 60 just after we leave, so we couldnt let that go unnoticed!

Andrew and his brothers worked with their Dad to organise a surprise party. The idea was to tell Barb that we had to come up and drop off the dogs before we left on our holiday, and that we wanted to take them out for lunch and meet up with Alison's family in Wodonga.

The day went well, Barb certainly was surprised - so much so she didn't realise she new the group we were heading towards till they started singing Happy Birthday! It was great, lots of chatting and catching up with family and friends.


So its now back to working out what we need to take with us - a bit worried about the weather, its colder in the UK coming into Summer, than it is here coming into Winter!

Welcome to our Blog

Over the next few months, the blog will be all about our holiday. In just 10 days we start jetsetting to the other side of the world - we cant wait!

So far we have organised our bags, tried to work out what to take, and written list after list to try and make sure we dont forget anything! Everything is laid out in the spare room, but between now and then we have to organise what to do with the mail, take the dogs to their farm-stay 'holiday' destination (the in-laws!), finish packing, finish work - so much to do, so little time...
